OSU Extension Personnel - Connecting Across Campus...
OSU Extension's mission is to “Engage people to strengthen their lives and communities through research-based educational programming.” As Extension professionals we do this in partnership with local citizens, organizations and colleagues. There are increasing opportunities to address these issues in partnership with colleagues across The Ohio State University. As a part of Ohio State's Leadership Agenda, colleges and departments across the institution are developing and implementing outreach/engagement programs that connect the academic expertise of their department to the societal needs of the communities they serve.
With this interest and commitment of University units to integrate their teaching, research and service expertise with communities, there may be opportunities for Ohio State Extension personnel to partner with colleagues across the University. But, how do you find those colleagues who may have similar outreach/engagement interests? Here are some ideas...

Discuss your ideas with colleagues who have partnered across campus. Review the OSU CARES grant list by college to identify Extension or other University colleagues who have worked together on an OSU CARES grant. Your Extension colleagues may be able to help you identify a potential partner in the college with whom they partnered on a grant. The College partner may be able to suggest colleagues who have a similar interests to yours in their college.
