OSU CARES Personnel Support & Seed Grants 2010 RFP Now Online
The 2010 Combined RFP for OSU CARES Personnel Support and Seed Grants is now online. The application form is also online. See instructions on RFP to guide you as you fill out the Application. Proposal deadline is March 8, 2010.
Outreach Grants Workshops

Online Q&A Session - Offered February 4th or 9th. If you are submitting a proposal for Engagement Impact or OSU CARES grants, please join in one of these online seminars. The discussion will focus on answering your questions related to writing and submitting your proposals. All participants are encouraged to have either attended or watched the video of the January 12 Workshop on applying for Outreach and Engagement Grants (see link to video above). Advance registration is required to attend an online seminar.

Our three OSU CARES grants programs support interdisciplinary teams for expanded outreach and engagement:
 Personnel Support Grants
(up to $25,000 each):
To support the salary/benefits of an existing OSU employee to extend both Extension's and the partnering department/unit's outreach and engagement. These grants are awarded in the Spring each year. See RFP.

OSU CARES Seed Grants
(up to $10,000 each):
Grants to seed new or expanded partnerships.
These grants are awarded in the Spring each year. See RFP.

Results of Past Grants:
Over seventy grants have been awarded through OSU CARES. Each grant supported the development of interdisciplinary teams of university personnel. The efforts of these teams helped to enhance the outreach/engagement of its members and focused on issues that will impact Ohioans in the future.
